A cozy

Cozy breakfast and then visit the forest lake. A few minutes walk and you can reach him and can stroll around the lake. Benches invite you to linger and if you like you may like to dine in the restaurant on Waldsee. In summer you can directly have a great table with a view of the lake. This excursion Waldcafe and Waldsee are always worthwhile.

Lovingly furnished café and a delicious and rich breakfast buffet. The coffee is delicious and the cake homemade. Absolute recommendation!

There is no longer a buffet. 7.50 € for 2 rolls and salty / sweet toppings I find quite usury. It's a shame as the surroundings are very beautiful.

Nice, rustic location. Inviting terrace. Service is friendly and endeavored, but in a big rush a bit overwhelmed and uncoordinated. The breakfast buffet is small and manageable. All the essentials are available. The price is unbeatable. Price-performance top. This hurts the small imperfections. Gladly again.

Should be quasi closed because the hostel next door throws more profit. Please do not!

The breakfast buffet is rich, fresh and it is quickly refilled, should something go out. The staff is friendly. The coffee is also good from the machine, there is enough for small Leckermäulchen to choose from. We will definitely go back because the price-performance ratio is good.

Very nice atmosphere outside and inside, .very good holiday feeling, great food and drinks, very friendly atmosphere. Happy again and again.

Fantastic breakfast buffet with full selection of coffees/hot drinks included

A beautiful place to relax, even if you do not have a tent with you or a caravan. In the restaurant you can enjoy coffee sodas and tarte flambée in a pleasant atmosphere. Everything is very nicely laid out, very friendly staff! The cake is homemade and tastes divine. The coffee has a wonderful aroma, the prices are very pleasant and the whole area makes a very clean impression! Toilets and showers are also very clean and modern. The hotel rooms are cozy clean and very quiet and have a slightly modern decor with a touch of the seventies. In short ...... it is a beautiful facility it is fun to stay there. It's quick in the center of Freiburg, 4 stations with the S-Bahn. I can only recommend this spacious grounds, which are mostly family run. Keep it up !!!!

Very nice cafe. In a calm neighborhood. Nice operator. Went there for breakfast. Can you really recommend. The coffee is totally delicious. There are also latte, cappuccino, tea ... The breakfast buffet is something for every taste. The price is great. Wish the Busse's continued success.

This place has great little breakfast buffet. We really enjoyed stopping here before our long drive home. They were open on Monday morning so that was great. Everything was delicious and readily available. Drinks are included in the price for the buffet. It was about €10 per adult for the buffet. Worth the price in my opinion. Other cafes in the area do not offer this wide variety or even that it is a buffet. Also while we were here we noticed that the cafe is next to a hotel and the cafe also rents out camping spots. If we had known about this camping spot we would have reserved here. It was much smaller and quieter than the one we went to.

Amazing breakfast buffet from 8-11 a.m. Great espresso beverages and a cozy, casual atmosphere; this place is worth the visit.

Beautiful café furnished with attention to detail. Qualitative products from the region. The coffee and the chat latte are excellent. The homemade cakes are super delicious and the breakfast buffet has an above-average price-performance ratio - hot drinks are included for an unbeatable buffet price of not even 11 euros. If I didn't live around the corner, I would camp on the campsite just because of the beautiful atmosphere. As an experienced camper, I have to say that such an ambience is extremely rare at a campsite. I can only recommend it. The staff is also very friendly. Everything perfect. 10 out of 5 stars ;-)

Very nicely located, quiet, under trees and by a small pond with a water lily. Good coffee and fine cakes, homemade. After a walk in the woods, the ideal "free-for-all" point.

Ate a bee sting there that was delicious, but the piece was really small. Nearby is a small construction site, which somewhat tarnishes the idyll. Too bad.

Were there for breakfast today. There was a great buffet for a good price. There is as much coffee, tea, water and orange juice as you want. Location nice, staff attentive and friendly!

Great facility and very friendly people! Perhaps the most cozy and beautiful cafe in Freiburg. I personally do not really like the dark espresso roasting from the Burkhart roastery, but it works great as a cappuccino! Definitely worth the detour and if you want to go for a walk it's worth it twice ;-)

Very quaint and welcoming cafe with some of the best coffee I have ever experienced. Lovely staff and well presented coffees with latte art and delicious slices of cake. Would definitely recommend a visit!
